Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 oz fresh yeast
- 1 1/3 cups warm water
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten, for wash
Instructions
- Mix water with yeast and 1 tsp sugar.
- Allow to activate (bubble).
- Combine remaining ingredients and add to yeast.
- Mix well, until smooth dough is formed.
- Set aside and allow to rise 1/2 hour.
- Shape into egg sized balls of dough.
- Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Let rise another 1/2 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Brush rolls with egg for shine,
- and bake 1/2 hour.
