Cookie Brittle


  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips


  • PreheatĀ oven 350 degrees. Line a 10×15 jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixer cream butter and sugar on medium speed until yellow and smooth. Add salt and vanilla.
  • Slowly add the flour. Stir in the chips.
  • Press dough into a thin even layer in the pan.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool completely and break into pieces.
